
Orlando morning anchor Erick Weber is headed to Boston, according to his Facebook page. Currently a morning anchor at WKMG-TV, Local 6, Weber has accepted a position with NECN in their expanded morning news department. “It is with both great excitement and great sadness that I am announcing I have accepted a morning news position in Boston” he says.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Weber will serve as the main anchor from 4:30am until 7:00am, and will act as a newsreader for the newly-launched The Morning Show on NECN. His last day at WKMG will be March 2nd, and his first day at NECN has yet to be determined.
