btvn turned ten years old in 2011. From its humble beginnings as the website pictured above to our present state as a news blog, btvn has been proud to bring you, the audience, the very latest in the Boston TV News world. To help celebrate this milestone, former managing editors Shawn Tempesta and Max Preston joined me for a discussion of our favorite stories, some reflection, as well as a preview to the future. It has been separated into three parts, which can be found directly below this text.

It was great listening to the flashback on BTVN history. Congrats to all who have kept it stimulating.
Thanks for taking the time guys, interesting to hear some of the behind the scenes tidbits. Max, Rob, & co. always maintained a high quality of content and I’m really liking the new stuff that Steven has been posting lately as well.
Also, a quick question – What music did you use for the podcast open? I think I’ve heard that used during highlights for NBC Sunday Night Football but never could figure out what it is.
It was a piece from Freeplaymusic which I believe is called “The Story” – deliberately chosen for its almost ridiculously hammy, over-the-top newsy-ness!
Thanks Max!
Also, apologies for neglecting to mention Shawn in my previous post and for misspelling Stephen’s name.
