Just In: Fitzgerald in on Fox25

Fox25 has hired a new reporter from Texas.  Brendan Fitzgerald, who spent the past two years at Texas CBS-affil KGBT, arrives in Dedham as a sports reporter.

Fitzgerald, a native of Massachusetts, told TVSpy, “Growing up on the Cape, covering sports in Boston has been a lifelong dream of mine,” Fitzgerald said in a statement. “There’s no place like home and no place I’d rather be working than at FOX25, a station I grew up watching.”

He replaces Kristine Leahy, the nightly sports reporter who joined the Fox O&O last July.  No word yet on his official start date.
